ASI 655 - Behavior of Domestic AnimalsCredits: 3
Students gain knowledge about the behavioral sciences’ fields, historical perspectives, and scientific methodologies. Behavior is evaluated from a biological perspective (i.e. physiology, development, adaptation, and genetics). Students refine observational skills and identify methods for quantifying behavior and interpreting results to improve animal health, management, housing, training, and welfare.
Note: Two hours lecture and two hours lab a week.
Requisites: Prerequisite: BIOL 198 and junior standing.
