SOCIO 851 - Sociology of Development

Introduction to the sociology of development.  Focus is comparative-historical, involving theoretical and empirical analysis of development dynamics over time and across places, both within the U.S. and abroad.  Significant attention to the interdisciplinary aspects of the sociology of development, including economic, geographic-spatial, and political analyses.

Requisites:
Prerequisite: Graduate standing.
