FNDH 635 - Sports NutritionCredits: 3
The interrelationships among diet, nutrition, and performance. Topics covered include nutrient metabolism during exercise training and performance, nutrition and training periodization, demands of sport training, supplements and ergogenic aids, and nutrients of concern for athletes. There is a focus on athletes/sport, but topics also include normal exercising individuals who have goals related to weight loss, weight gain, or performance and competition.
Repeat for Credit Retake rules apply when student re-enrolls.
Requisites: Prerequisite: FNDH 132 or FNDH 400 and a grade of C or higher in KIN 310 and KIN 335.
