PHYS 741 - The Physics of Lasers

Credits: 3

The theory of lasers including Light-matter interactions, atomic rate equations, threshold and oscillation; resonators and cavity modes; and laser dynamics including Q-switching and mode-locking. 

Requisites:
Prerequisite: PHYS 651 and PHYS 652.
