MANGT 541 - Management of Quality

Addresses quality management topics and applications vital to business and organizational improvement.  Coverage of quality as a management philosophy through the study of ideas from contemporary quality philosophies of Deming, Juran, and Taguchi, as well as topics of Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen continuous improvement, employee empowerment, statistical process control charting, and other applicable organizational topics.Development of quality as a management philosophy through the study of ideas from contemporary quality philosophies of Deming, Juran, and Taguchi. Statistical process control charting as a process and quality improvement tool and product and process design as important components of quality.

Requisites:
Prerequisite: MANGT 421.
