This course provides an overview of the characteristics of middle schools; the social, psychological, and physical characteristics of early adolescent development; middle-level curriculum; ways to organize for instruction; and the teacher’s role in the guidance of students at the middle level.
Requisites Prerequisite: Admission to teacher education.
