SPAN 760 - U.S. Latinx/a Literature and Culture in Spanish

Examines the border as a metaphorical concept in Latinx literature and culture. Analysis of literary texts and media that explore intersecting identities, languages, and counter-traditions that shape the Latinx cultural legacy in the U.S.

Develops ability to interpret and craft complex, abstract language. Reading- and writing-intensive class.

Requisites
Prerequisite: SPAN 550 and 6 additional hours at the 500-level or instructor permission.
