Study of such topics as zone melting, foam fractionation, membrane permeation, thermal diffusion, and unsteady state operations.

Three hours recitation a week.

Requisites:
Prerequisite: CHE 826 or CHE 832 and one course in chemical engineering numbered 851 or higher.
