SPAN 755 - Spanish American Drama Interpretation and analysis of representative texts from pre-Columbian performance practices to the present with emphasis on contemporary works. Examines the impact of European theater in Spanish-America, the ways in which these practices were appropriated or transformed, and the contributions of Spanish-America to the world stage.
