CIS 753 - Applied CryptographyCredits: (3) Fundamentals of cryptography, including mathematical background, classical ciphers, public key encryption, block and stream ciphers, cryptographic hash functions, digital signatures, common attacks, and basic network security.
Note Three hours recitation a week.
Not available for credit to students with credit in CIS 553.
Requisites Prerequisite: CIS 300, MATH 510, or equivalent. Students may enroll in CIS courses only if they have earned a grade of C or better for each prerequisite to those courses.
