HORT 555 - The Fundamentals of Landscape Irrigation Design The goal of this course is to learn landscape irrigation design for efficient use of our water resources. This course will discuss basic hydraulics, sprinkler performance, plot plans, sprinkler layout, pipe sizing and zoning, and electrical considerations of the design process.

Note: Two hours lec. and two hours lab per week, for the last 11 weeks of the semester.
Requisites: Pr.: HORT 550 or two years of irrigation experience related field work approved by the instructor.
