FSHS 725 - Augmentative and Alternative Communication This course examines the area of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) for people across the lifespan. The etiologies and communicative needs of current and prospective users of AAC, as well as procedures for evaluation are addressed. The course includes strategies and procedures for implementing AAC systems for people who are permanently or temporarily severely communicatively impaired.
