Credits: (3)Reinforcement of the horticultural design process as applied to the use of native and introduced plant materials. Emphasis on functional and aesthetic arrangement of plants in small-scale design to meet site design objectives and adaptation to microclimates. Students expected to develop site adapted plant palettes and graphic ability to present their design.
Note Two three-hour studio periods a week.
Requisites Prerequisite: HORT 275 and two plant materials courses.
