HIST 101 - Western Civilization: The Rise of Europe

Credits: (3)
Major trends in Western history from the beginnings of European civilization to the end of the seventeenth century. The scope of this course includes classical antiquity, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Reformation, and early modern Europe, but chronological and topical emphases vary with individual sections.

Note
Required of all majors in history.

Requisites
Prerequisite: Not open to juniors and seniors except with consent of instructor.
