ASI 520 - Companion and Laboratory Animal Management
Credits: (3)General biology and management of pets in zoos, kennels and at home. Working safely with companion animals. Management of animals in kennels, shelters, research facilities and zoos. Regulatory issues of small animals used as companion pets and in laboratory research. Interactive discussion and written skills will be emphasized.
Note Three hours of lecture/recitation a week.
Requisites Prerequisite: ASI 107 and junior standing.
