General agriculture is a non-degree exploratory program. Students who are undecided about a major within the College of Agriculture are encouraged to select general agriculture as a major. During the first several semesters, students can investigate their potential interests through course selection and research on career opportunities with the assistance of their faculty advisor from the College of Agriculture Academic Programs Office. By the junior year, students should select a specific major since a degree cannot be awarded in general agriculture.
