Feed Science and Management (B.S.)

Two options are offered in the Feed Science and Management degree program: Feed Production or Biofuels Production.
The Feed Production option is intended for those wishing to follow the conventional feed science program to prepare for careers in the feed manufacturing and animal nutrition fields including pet food manufacturing and other allied industries.
The Biofuels Production option focuses on preparation for supervisory and management positions in the biofuels industry including grain processing, fuel production, and the utilization of the co-products produced in biofuels production.

Pre-vet professional requirements
The pre-professional requirements for admission to the doctor of veterinary medicine degree program may be met by appropriate elective selection while completing a degree in feed science and management.

Note
Class work must include a minimum of 18 credit hours of classes from the approved list of K-State University General Education (UGE) classes and must be taken at K-State. Six of the hours must be from classes at the 300 level or above. Requirements for transfer students vary depending on transfer hours accepted by K-State. Total hours required for graduation (127 credit hours)
