CSD 361 - Hearing Science

Credits: 3

An introduction to hearing science concepts. Areas of focus include anatomy and physiology of the hearing mechanism, quantification of sound, sound generation, and sound transmission. Information on the role of the auditory system in the encoding and processing of simple and complex signals is also presented.

Requisites
Prerequisite: CSD major, completion of 57 credit hours and an overall 3.0 GPA, including both K-State and transfer course work.

Co-requisite: CSD 347, 442.
