CIS 415 - Ethics and Computing Technology

A study of the ethical issues raised by computing technologies and the impact on society. Topics include an examination of Profession Codes of Conduct for computer scientists and informatics professionals, ethics of software development, and ethical issues relating to privacy and intellectual property in cyberspace.

Requisites
Prerequisite: CIS 300 and junior standing. Students may enroll in CIS courses only if they have earned a grade of C or better for each prerequisite to those courses.
